Después de su retiro como consejera escolar, la compositora y poetisa está dedicando más tiempo a la recopilación de su música y versos. Todos acumulados a través de los años.

Su educación musical desde muy niña empieza con su madre, la pianista clásica y educadora, Carmen L. Baytan en Cuba. Luego continuó sus estudios de música y literatura hispana en la Universidad de Miami. Allí obtuvo su maestría. Ya casada con John J. Leeson, Ph.D., Teresita termina su doctorado en consejería escolar en la Universidad de la Florida.  

John y Teresita tienen dos hijos, y dos preciosos nietos.

Teresita dedica su música y versos a todos, en agradecimiento al milagro de la vida

After her retirement as a school counselor, the composer and poet is dedicating her time to gathering her music and poems.  All of them accumulated through the years.

Her musical education began as a young child in Cuba with her mother, the classic pianist and educator Carmen L. Baytan.  Later she continued her music education and Spanish Literature studies at the University of Miami.  There she obtained her Masters Degree.  Once married to John J. Leeson, Ph.D., Teresita finished her Ph.D. in Counseling at the University of Florida.

John and Teresita have two children and two precious grandchildren.

Teresita dedicates her music and poems to everyone in gratefulness for the miracle of life.
